Sometimes a glittering career hides many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and World Championships for hurdle events 2013 has achieved this feat through a great deal of dedication and perseverance. Jones, who was born into a family of no mothers with five children who lived in difficult circumstances as a youngster, experienced extremely difficult childhood. Jones lived with her mom in the basement of the local church. Jones was required to transfer into a new school every year up until her senior year because of this nomadic existence. When she attended Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones resided apart from her mother in order to explore her love of athletics. The family she lived with was diverse throughout high school, so that she was in a position to focus on her studies. Jones, a cellist in the school's orchestra and winner of the Gatorade athletes of Iowa's track and field year award won her the Gatorade Iowa Athletic Award at the conclusion of the high school year. Jones was one of the top hurdlers when she first entered the college. In 2002, at the NCAA Track and Field Championships, Jones won the 100-meter hurdles. Additionally, she was in the team who finished third in the 100-meter Relay event. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles event in 2003 as well as 2004. Jones started her track career after she completed her college studies. The same year she also placed first in her first Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track event as well as Heusden.

Brandt, who was raised in Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings and immigrated in Auckland New Zealand when she was a teenager. Brandt, discovered by local casting agencies, became the main character Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. With producers Steven S. Other Netflix shows include animated comedy Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter, Anthony Carrigan, and Chris Meloni. This will premiere in the month of July 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt is a South African actress born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2nd December 1981. She is an New Zealand actress with a great talent. Lesley Brandt and her family made the move to Auckland, New Zealand in the year 1999. In Auckland she began working as a salesperson, and then become a manager of IT consultant. After several modeling assignments, Lesley appeared in countless commercials. She completed her majors in acting and further trained in Meisner methods of studying. The first time she was a prominent actor, her role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt has shown up in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting supporting appearance. Then she starred in This Is Not My Life in a film based on the fictional town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a young hostage and later portrayed her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
